This is the third book in the Fablehaven series and it is fantastic. I love all the new creatures especially the Nipsies. Brandon Mull pulls you in and keeps you reading.

My kids (11 & 13) have LOVED this series!
I read the second one first. I was a judge for the Whitney Awards and Brandon's book, "Rise of the Evening Star" took home Best YA/Children's, and he was up against some stiff competition. So I just picked up the first and third books. I'm starting at the beginning and working my way up. Can't wait to get to Grip of the Shadow Plague.
